Dr. Dean Meade has the privilege of serving as the Lead Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. He has earned a Doctor of Ministry from George W. Truett Theological Seminary; an M.A.R.E. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary; a Bachelor of Arts in Bible from Howard Payne University; and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from East Texas State University. He also has a Texas Teaching Certification in Special Education. Dean has served various Southern Baptist Churches in Texas as a Student Minister, Associate Pastor of Life Development, Minister of Education, Church Planter, and currently as Lead Pastor.

Denise Romo is the Financial Secretary of Calvary. She has been a member of Calvary for 2 years. Denise has a Bachelor of English Studies Degree from St. Edwards University. She has 10 years experience in the banking field.

Hazel Farris of Brenham serves as Calvary's Ministry Assistant.  Hazel has been a member of Calvary for 19 years.

She was a pastor's wife for 16 years and is the mother of 4 grown children.  In addition to her many years of church work, she has been a hospital Director of Volunteer Services for 21 years.  She has  worked  with and directed large groups of  youth and adult volunteers,  as well as interfacing with the hospital medical and professional staffs.  She has  a certification in Training and Development  from UCLA and is nationally certified as a Director of Volunteer Services through the American Hospital Association.  During her professional career she served as  national president of  the  American Society  of Directors of Volunteer Services of the American Hospital Association, state chair of the Committee on Volunteers and chair of the Southern California Association of Directors of Volunteer Services.

It has been, and continues to be her honor and privilege to serve her Lord when and where He calls.
